What we collect

The Filefold website and extensions collect no personal data. There are no accounts.

File processing

All processing happens inside your browser. Files are never transmitted to any server; we do not operate a server that could receive them.

Data stored on your device

Only your free-plan usage counter and license state are stored locally (extension: chrome.storage.local, web: localStorage). This data never leaves your device.

Payments

Pro purchases are handled by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Information you enter at checkout is governed by Polar's privacy policy. License validation sends only the key and our organization ID to Polar; no files or personal data are included.

Analytics

The website may use cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics. The extensions contain no analytics code.
